Trip Overview
Escape the heat of the city for the cool breezes of the Atlantic Ocean. This day trip takes you to Essaouira, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its Portuguese fortifications, blue boats, and artistic vibe.
But before reaching the city, we explore the unique ecosystem of the Argan forest, endemic to this region. We combine a nature walk with a cultural visit, offering a perfect blend of relaxation, nature, and history.

Detailed Itinerary
Depart Marrakech at 08:30. On route, we stop in the Argan forest. Keep your eyes peeled for goats climbing the trees! We then head to the wild beach of Sidi Kaouki for a refreshing walk along the sand dunes where the desert meets the ocean.
We head into Essaouira town for lunch. You can choose your own fresh fish at the market stalls to be grilled right in front of you, or enjoy a meal in a rooftop restaurant overlooking the sea.
Spend the afternoon exploring the Skala de la Ville (ramparts), the active fishing harbor, and the medina. The atmosphere is laid-back and artistic. We return to Marrakech in the early evening.

Morning transfer with stop at an Argan cooperative and coastal walk in Sidi Kaouki. Afternoon exploring the medina and ramparts. Overnight in Essaouira.
Optional wind-sports or horse ride along the beach in the morning. Afternoon free to visit local artisan workshops and a seafood lunch. Evening at leisure in the port quarter.
Leisurely morning market visit, then return to Marrakech with scenic stops and time to enjoy coastal views before arriving late afternoon.
