Trip Overview
Short on time but craving adventure? The Agafay Desert offers a taste of the wilderness just
45 minutes from Marrakech. Unlike the sandy Sahara, Agafay is a stone desert (reg) with
dramatic rolling dunes that mimic the shape of sand dunes in rock and earth.
On this day trip, you will escape the city noise to breathe fresh air and enjoy the vast
open horizons. You'll hike across the moon-like landscape, enjoy a traditional lunch in a
tent, and have the option for a camel ride at sunset.
