This tour offers a perfect mix of high ridge walking with spectacular panoramic views and valley floor trails through lush palm groves and ancient kasbahs. It is a journey through nature and history, revealing the life of Berber communities hidden within these massive rock formations.

Detailed Itinerary
Transfer to the Todra region. We begin with a short introductory hike through the palmery to warm up your legs and marvel at the towering orange cliffs.
Today we hike up to the high ridges above the gorge. The path offers spectacular bird's-eye views of the canyon below. We encounter nomadic families grazing their flocks on the plateau.
We descend into the Dades Valley, famous for its red rock formations. We hike through the unique "Monkey Fingers" area, a surreal landscape of eroded rock that looks like giant hands.
Our final day is a gentle walk along the valley floor, winding through agricultural plots, gardens, and ancient crumbling Kasbahs, witnessing the daily life of the valley inhabitants before our tour concludes.

Fitness & Difficulty
Medium-High. The terrain is rocky and uneven. Some days involve steep ascents to the ridges. Good general fitness and sure-footedness are required.
