Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Imlil to Tinerhourhine

Leaving Imlil, we hike eastwards, crossing the Tamatert pass. We descend into the pristine Imnane Valley, dotted with villages clinging to the mountainside. We overnight in Tinerhourhine, known for its warm hospitality.

Day 2: Tinerhourhine to Aït Aïssa

A gentle day of walking through the valley. We pass through walnut groves and observe traditional farming methods. The contrast of the red soil against the green crops and snow-capped peaks is a photographer's dream. We settle in the village of Aït Aïssa.

Day 3: Return to Imlil

We climb out of the valley via the Tizi n'Mzik pass (2489m), offering a final spectacular panorama. A descent through juniper forests brings us back to Imlil, completing our cultural loop.

Accommodation & Meals

  • Accommodation: Village Guesthouses (Gîtes d'étape). Simple, clean, and authentic. Shared facilities. Hot showers usually available.
  • Meals: All meals included. Delicious home-cooked Tagines and Couscous prepared by our cook or host families.

Best Time to Go

Year-round. The valleys are beautiful in all seasons. Spring for flowers, Autumn for harvest colors, and Winter for snow-capped views (lower valleys remain accessible).
